Fun Creed Facts

Creed was originally named "Naked Toddler", after a photograph Mark used to carry around in his wallet.

The name Creed was conceived by original Creed bassist Brian Marshall, who was later ousted from the band.

Mark wrote all of Creed's music and many of the lyrics.

Many Creed songs contain religiously-inspired lyrics, however Creed was not a Christian band, though many labeled them as such.

While making their network television debut on Letterman, the band started playing too early, cutting off David Letterman's introduction.  The band had to stop playing and allow David to finish his speech.

Mark's mother passed away when the "Bullets" music video was scheduled to be filmed.  Instead of making the video, they hired a computer graphics company to make an animated music video instead.
