Mark uses a Fender Twin Reverb 1965 reissue 2x12 combo amp for his clean tone both live and in the studio.  Until late 2004 he used two of these amps in stereo to produce his live clean sound, however he began using a Tone King Meteor to replace one of the Fender Twins, and in November 2005 he replaced the Meteor with a Mesa/Boogie Heartbreaker.  Mark says in an interview with Total Guitar magazine, “the Twin is great for the clean fingerpicking, the nice big bright stuff.”
