Mesa/Boogie Heartbreaker
Mark currently drives his live clean tone with a Fender Twin Reverb 1965 reissue and a Mesa/Boogie Heartbreaker 2x12 combo amp. The heartbreaker consists of two channels driven by 100 watts of tube power through two Celestion 90 speakers. “The heartbreaker is a powerful amp,” Mark explains, “it’s great for clean strumming and it doesn’t break up like the Twin does…” Begun as a 25th anniversary tribute to the Mesa/Boogie Mark I amplifier, the Heartbreaker is now discontinued. |
